Universitas Indonesia (UI) is one of the best state universities in Indonesia. It is no wonder that every year this campus becomes one of the dreams for many students to continue their education to college, including you, right?
The high interest of students to study at UI is certainly welcomed by the campus. This is proven by the opening of a number of New Student Admissions pathways to filter selected students who have the opportunity and chance to study at UI.
These pathways are through national selection conducted by LTMPT (Higher Education Entrance Test Institute), as well as independent selection held directly by UI.
This year there are at least 7 UI 2023 entry pathways for those of you who want to continue your studies at UI. What are they? Here is the explanation.

1. SNBP
The UI 2023 entrance pathway that can be chosen is through SNBP. SNBP stands for National Selection Based on Achievement which is a national-level selection pathway that focuses on assessing achievements in report cards and in academic and non-academic fields.
SNBP is held by BPPP (Educational Testing Management Center) and is implemented simultaneously nationally. This year, UI accepts 2,049 new students through the SNBP pathway, which was announced in March 2023.
2. UTBK SNBT
Prospective new students can also choose the 2023 UI entry pathway from SNBT. The 2023 National Test-Based Selection or SNBT is a university entrance selection based on the results of the Computer-Based Written Examination (UTBK).
This selection is also a national selection where the provisions are based on the results of the UTBK and can be supplemented with other criteria in accordance with the provisions of the relevant Academic PTN, Vocational PTN, or PTKIN.

3. PPKB

4. SIMAK UI for S1 and Vocational
Vocational (D3 and D4) is a diploma level education program that aims to prepare workers who can determine expertise and skills in their fields, are ready to work and are able to compete globally.
Vocational (D3) graduates will receive an
Associate Degree (A.Md) and Vocational (D4) graduates will receive an Applied Bachelor Degree (S.Tr.).
While S1 is a bachelor’s degree program that accepts SMA/SMK/MA/equivalent graduates with a maximum diploma age limit of 3 years of graduation at the time of registration.
For example: 2023 registration for graduates of 2023, 2022, 2021. Graduates of this program will receive a Bachelor’s Degree in accordance with the field of science they have studied.

5. SIMAK UI for S1 RPL and Vocational RPL
Another program opened on the UI 2023 entrance pathway at SIMAK UI is the Prior Learning Recognition (RPL) program at the S1 and Vocational levels.
The material tested on this pathway is the Academic Potential Test and English.
