What started the path to Internet marketing

Share your experience – how did your path to marketing begin?

I came here when I was about 16 and became interested in digital marketing, even though I was already in medical school at the time. It was specific, and many people were surprised when they found out that I had a medical degree. I was in my second year of medical school at the time and realized that I needed to make money somehow, especially looking at prospects in medicine. I decided to explore the possibilities on the Internet.

This led me to the world of digital marketing and I started learning about different tools and platforms. I especially liked social networks. At first it seemed quite simple to me and I was under the illusion that posting photos and writing texts was all that was needed for advertising.

However

over time I realized that it is not as easy as it seems and started learning more about digital marketing strategies and tools. I started reading various articles, listening to lectures and watching YouTube videos, but the main step was practice.

I was lucky that I knew a person who had a sports shop and planned to expand his business on the Internet. I contacted her and offered my help, explaining that I have experience in digital marketing. This person responded, and we started working together.

This was my first job in digital marketing. I spent several hours a day developing their website, managing their social media and setting up their advertising campaigns. And from that moment, my path in this field began.

About the transition to work in an agency

Why did you switch from PPC to broad marketing?

First I took up PPC, so to speak. When I graduated from college and moved to Kyiv, my first job maimaim-poana manerana an’i java.  was entirely dedicated to targeted advertising, or PPC. That is, I worked as a PPC specialist. At that time, this position in our company meant mainly work with advertising campaigns. Although, sometimes I had to add content to promotional materials. However, the main emphasis was on targeted advertising.

Over time, I began to feel limited in this role

It seems that I already know a lot about working in advertising offices and decided to atb directory expand my knowledge and skills in marketing. I studied Google Tag Manager and Google Ads, took on various freelance projects, but it still felt like it wasn’t enough.
